The ranking is a project to vote for works that voters want to see made into an anime, and are selected from manga submitted through open applications. Today, the results were announced from among the project’s 47 nominated works, and “Ugly Duckling of the Entertainment District,” which has been highly popular since its serialization on GANMA! began in May 2021, including successive entries at the top of daily rankings and total series sales of over 400,000 (print and digital combined), was ranked 6th.
As a campaign to celebrate this ranking, GANMA! is offering the first volume of the book (up to issue #8) without advertisements for a limited time starting Thursday, March 13 at 5:00 p.m. Please take this opportunity to enjoy this very popular otherworldly entertainment district fantasy work!
