[Synopsis]
Toko Nirehara is a single mother who is very busy each day with work and raising her child, without relying upon anyone.
One day, when Toko collapses from overwork, she is helped by a college student who lives in the apartment next door.
He is a very good looking ‘super darling’, but is also a bit of a playboy. Could this be the last chance at love for Toko, who doesn’t like men?

I was very surprised when I learnt it would be made into a live-action drama! I am very grateful.
The hurdle of adapting the unrealistic world of manga into live-action film is often seen as being high,
but the cast and crew have done a great job of capturing the essence of the characters,
and as the author I am very happy!
It is a short drama that progresses with a light tempo.
It is funny and entertaining, and I am very grateful to the cast and the many people who were involved in the screenwriting and direction.

■Kasumi Hasegawa as Toko Nirehara
This was my first role in a romantic comedy, but when I read the original manga for the first time, I found the characters’ relationship to be very nice and close, so I wanted to keep that in mind in my performance.
I discussed with the director how to make sure to portray the emotional scenes convincingly, while performing the lighter scenes in a comical manner.
I hope you enjoy Toko as she meets the young playboy Yuki and gradually changes!
Also, look out for her cute daughter Koto!
■Ryunosuke Shibata as Yuki Kusunaga
My name is Ryunosuke Shibata, and I play the role of Yuki Kusunaga.
This is my first vertical-screen, multi-episode short drama, and I was very nervous before we started filming. Yuki is kind, considerate, and can do anything, but he is a “bad guy” in a good way.
I struggled very hard to find a way to express that perfect balance!
My co-stars and the crew were really warm on set, especially Ryoka Shiki, who played Koto, who was so cheerful and energetic all day long that was very refreshing.
I feel that I grew a lot in the atmosphere where the entire team worked together as one to create the show. I hope viewers enjoy it through to the end.
