Provision and outsourcing of handling to third parties located outside of Japan

(1) When we provide personal information to or consign the handling of information to a third party located outside of Japan (excluding a third party located in the United Kingdom or EEA member states; hereinafter a “”Foreign Third Party””), we will provide the name of the foreign country and the personal information protection system of that foreign country as follows, except when it cannot be specified due to the Foreign Third Party’s operational reasons (effective operation, improvement of performance, ensuring redundancy, etc.). If there are other reasons why the country cannot be identified, we will disclose them.

(2) We confirm that the Foreign Third Parties to whom we provide or consign the handling of personal information take measures to comply with the eight principles of the OECD Privacy Guidelines. If a third party does not take the same measures, we will provide information to that effect.
(3) We may provide or consign the handling of personal information to third parties located in the United Kingdom or EEA member states.
