[Synopsis]<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

30 year-olds Eri and Masayuki Mikoshiba have been married for five years and do not have children. Since quitting full-time work, Eri has been busy as a housewife and working part-time. One day, her husband asks her if she would like to have a child. When she is unable to answer immediately, her husband pulls divorce papers from his bag. The film depicts the “constraints” that surround women who survive day to day, burdened by the question of whether women who do not give birth are worthless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The short drama of this title which we will begin streaming was produced with the cooperation of Gokko Club, one of the top vertical-screen short drama creator groups in Japan, which boasts a total of 5 billion views (as of March 2025) and 4.6 million social media followers.*1 Nene Shida plays the lead role of Eri Mikoshiba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drama draws upon the charm of the original story to the fullest extent while conveying the internal conflict that a woman wavering about giving birth faces in a way that only a live-action show can, making it a work that fans of the original can also enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I heard about the live-action adaptation, I was just so happy and thought, “My longtime dream has come true! “
I put a lot of effort into scenes in the original manga that incite anger and fear, but the live-action version looks so raw…! Even though I wrote the story, I couldn’t help but cower.
 The support for Eri and her friends to “Don\u2019t lose, keep fighting!” was so powerful that I couldn’t help but burst into tears during the final scene.
I believe that this sense of realism was created by the sincere efforts of the cast and crew who worked on the production.

I was very happy when I heard that I would be appearing in my first vertical short drama, as I have been a viewer of Gokko Club videos for a long time. When I read the original manga, “I Don’t Want a Visit from a Stork”, it made me think about the possibility that people have various feelings. I did my best to be faithful to Eri\u2019s character. I was excited to take on the challenge of a new genre of acting for me. I hope viewers enjoy the entire series while feeling the dilemmas that each character faces. There are also suspenseful and exciting developments in the storyline! Having said that, the atmosphere on set was cheerful and full of smiles!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have lucky enough to play the role of female antagonist in five consecutive shows since last year, and this time I took on the challenge of playing a mother for the first time. Her love as a mother is gradually distorted by pain and loneliness. While acting as Ayako through this process, the role also had moments when I was afraid of where my emotions would take me. Retsu Hirota, who played the role of my son Rion, was so cute during filming! We played together all the time, even during breaks, and we gradually became like a real parent and child.
