This “GANMA! Manga Grand Prix” is a year-round one-shot open call program for “co-creation” that goes beyond the framework of conventional manga awards to create hits together with artists.
This program will run for a total of four seasons per year, with each season lasting three months. Each season, the submission of works will be accepted and judged, and those selected for publication will be guaranteed a fixed publication fee of 100,000 yen, while the winners of the awards granted each season will receive a prize of 200,000 yen and the grand prize winner across all seasons will receive 1,000,000 yen. In addition, full effort will be put into supporting the nominated works to make them hits by promoting them on our official social media channels, which have a cumulative total of more than 100,000 followers.
Submissions for the auspicious first season of the “1st GANMA! Manga Grand Prix” will open on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
At COMISMA, we will continue to train and support manga artists and enhance our manga distribution services with the aim of creating superior manga works originating from the Internet.
[About the 1st GANMA! Manga Grand Prix]
■ Entry Guidelines
We are looking for one-shot works full of originality, regardless of the content or theme.
* Works that contain excessive sexual depictions, depictions of cruelty, discriminatory expressions, defamation of specific individuals or groups, or similar expressions, as well as those that are less than the stipulated number of pages (4 pages), will not be considered.

■ Selection Method
Each season, nominated works will be selected from among the entries through an editorial review process.
The GANMA! editorial staff will evaluate the entries from various angles, including the response on the GANMA! app and social media during the review period, as well as evaluation by the editors, and winners of an Excellence Award and Newcomer Award will be selected.
Finally, the heads of our editorial department and other departments will review the winning entries from each of the four seasons across the year and award the winner the “1st GANMA! Manga Grand Prix”.
■ Prize Money
・ Excellence Award: 200,000 yen prize + 100,000 yen publication fee
An award presented each season to an outstanding work from among the nominated works.
The Excellence Award winners will be invited to the award ceremony to receive their awards.
* In any given season, there may be multiple winners selected, or no winner selected.
・ Newcomer Award: 200,000 yen prize + 100,000 yen publication fee
An award presented each season to a work that has high potential of becoming a hit from among the nominated works submitted by newcomer entrants.
The Newcomer Award winners will be invited to the award ceremony to receive their awards.
* Newcomer: Entrants who have not won an award from GANMA! or any other publisher and have not made a commercial debut.
* In any given season, there may be multiple winners selected, or no winner selected.
・ GANMA! Manga Grand Prix: 1,000,000 yen
The “1st GANMA! Manga Grand Prix” will be awarded to the best work from among the “Excellence Award” and “Newcomer Award” winners from each season.

Entry period for each season:
・ 1st Season: April – June 2026 (Deadline: June 30)
・ 2nd Season: July – September 2026 (Deadline: September 30)
・ 3rd Season: October – December 2026 (Deadline: December 31)
・ Final Season: January – March 2027 (Deadline: March 31)
* Entry will be completed upon submission of a manuscript.
